X-Block Quilt

This is our guilds X-Block quilt that we demonstrated at a fall meeting.  We chose black, white and red for our fabric to make a youth quilt and used the 3 strip method from the book 'Once Upon a Time in X-Blocks Land'.  I found a YouTube video that shows you a ruler demo here.  This quilt will be a In House Raffle quilt at our Quilt Show in April.

We used two sizes of rulers and the smaller size makes a great border!

I bought a new panto called "Popcorn".  I have seen this design on a few blogs and really liked it.

Still need to add a red binding but I'll save that job for another guild member as I know there are others that enjoy that job more than I do :)

It is a beautiful frosty morning here and the clouds are slowly disappearing.
