This is Lynn’s Mahjongg quilt and she will be donating this for an auction at her high school reunion this June. Our local high school colours are Red, Black and White so her fabric choices are very appropriate for the celebration and I’m sure everyone there will want to win this beauty! The backing is white Minkie so it is a very cuddly quilt and the panto is Bayside.
If these pictures look a little hazy they are, the air here is filled with smoke from forest fires. There are some large fires in Northern Saskatchewan about 260km away and with the wind blowing from the west we are getting all the smoke.
I have been quilting for 20 years and have turned my passion for quilting into a home business. Tamarack Shack Longarm Quilting opened it's doors January 2009.
This blog is where I share photos of my quilts as well as my clients quilts. I have recently become addicted to dyeing fabric especially snow dyeing as we have snow 6 months of the year. I also throw in few personal stories about living on the shores of Schist Lake, in Northern Manitoba, as life isn't all about quilting.
