Broken Herringbone #2

yw1

This is Yvonne’s Broken Herringbone quilt and the pattern is by Violet Craft.  I love the selection of fabrics Yvonne chose,  a nice mix of modern prints and tone on tone.   Yvonne asked for the Tickle pantograph and I used white So Fine thread and Quilters Dream Blend batting.

Another cool crisp morning here, –25’c but sunny with no wind so that I like.

  1. What a pretty quilt - proving that a simple pattern and all-over quilting can be very, very attractive. :)

  4. The quilt, pattern fabrics, panto, and then came the photo shoot and that fab setting. Love your winter photos with the snow, and a quilt draped to show it off ( the quilt) so well.

  5. It certainly depicts the lovely tamarack tree. Nice outlay of colors, and the quilting so suits the design! Great back drop. Mom
