Ours w...I wonder how Australia did divide the land. Ours was divided into sections and acres. If I remember my history, in Quebec it was divided by chains along waterways so the lots were deep and narrow but each landowner had access to water. I started thinking of this because of the name of the quilt and pattern. I also have that pattern and have used it for a child's quilt.
