Metro Hoops Quilt Top

 hoops

Finished piecing my Metro Hoops quilt top this morning and really like how it looks but I think the quilting will really bring it to life.  Now I just have to come up with a quilting plan!  Might be a few month before I get time to quilt this one but it would be nice to have done before our guilds quilt show in April.  That’s my goal.

  10. Love your beautiful curves. I am working on a curved pieced quilt. My curves are not as good as you.

  12. Ooo - I like your fabrics :) I've got this pattern on the sideboard, waiting for me to work it up in "man" colors for my hubby, but it will be at least a month before I can start it.

  17. This quilt is just brimming with potential. I bet you are itching to get started! I think you'll have it done well before the show. It's a great set of fabrics. :)

  18. Kathy: Beautiful quilt! Boy, are you ever a fast quilter. Love the contrast between
the 21/2" strips that became the rings and the background fabrics. The teal/turquoise
triangles really set the quilt off marvellously.

  20. So pretty and I can hardly wait to see you work your magic on this top! I've been busy piecing too, when it's -40s and -50s it's so nice to be cozy warm inside and stitchin' to our hearts content. Stay warm, my friend. :-)
