Musical Turning Twenty

This is Joanne’s Turning Twenty quilt and she pieced it using musical themed fabrics.   She left the panto choice up to me and  I do have a music panto but when I laid it on the top it was just too busy.  If there were only a few fabric with the odd note print then I might have used it to highlight that design but when a quilt top as a dominate theme it is best to keep the quilting simple.  I chose Happy Times as it is a smaller scale panto with simple curves as the print in the fabrics were mostly small in scale and the borders narrow.

I used a beige So Fine thread and Quilters Dream Blend batting.
