Gail pieced this modern Deco Quilt, pattern by Lo & Behold Stitchery. She pulled fabrics from her stash and bought the blue Northcott Crackle for the background. The designs really shines with the colourful background.
We decided on Arrowful for the pantograph design as it has a modern feel and gives a wavy flow across the quilt. The design lined up perfectly with the piecing so the quilting designs land on the same spots across the blocks. Love it when that happens. I used a blue So Fine thread and she brought a Warm and Natural batting.
This quilt looks so good against the clear blue sky. I still can't believe we do not have snow yet, just very frosty each morning.
This is stunning - especially so in the sunshine! I agree the colors really make the quilt and shows off the pattern. If I look closely, I can see how it's constructed. Very nice pattern and I'll look up to designer. Thanks for sharing!
