Yellow Brick Road


This is Sandra's Yellow Brick Road quilt and I quilted a free hand teardrop shape in the center using a blue variegated Lava thread.  One of my goals in 2012 is to do more free hand edge to edge work and rely a little less on pantos.


 I also added the echo curves design in the border. 

Love the texture it created on the back.

I really like the border quilting on this quilt. How do you do this? Is it a particular ruler?

Looks so awesome, Kathy!!! I love it do much!!! What a gorgeous design plus I love that border design that you do. Sounds like you should do a step by step tutorial on it!! :-)
