Donna created this lovely scrappy quilt using 4" squares of fabric from her stash. She made a set of four patches using all darker straps and the made a second set of four patches using 2 white squares and 2 darker squares. She then alternated these two sets as she pieced her rows creating a great focus with the diagonal white lines running across the quilt.
I quilted it with the Allium pantograph to add a swirly texture. Used white So Fine thread and Quilters Dream blend for the batting.
I really like the subtle white lines running across the quilt. What a good use of all those charms squares. As usual, your choice of pantograph and your quilting is immpeccable. I don't often comment, but I love what you do for quilts.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty, and with the white running on the diagonal, shows so much careful placing to create a really wonderful finish.
ReplyDeleteReally like this!
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is a great way to use up so many scraps. Nicely done.
