Washboard Road in Hoffman Batiks

We had another wonderful friend test our new Highway 10 Designs Washboard Road pattern and I'm excite to share hers with you.  This beauty was pieced by Reneta and she used a Hoffman Bali Pop called Mercury that she had lying around in her stash.   She used a solid back for the backing and wow does it allow the fabrics to shine!

Reneta chose the Bora Bora pantograph for this one as she sees 'flight' in this quilt top.  Geese in formation is a great image that it comes to mind when looking at this quilt.  I love how people see different things in a quilt design, inspiring the imagination.

I had a lot of fun taking pictures as we just had a light snowfall adding to the scenery.  My husband was a good sport holding the quilts in the farmers fields around our place.

I used charcoal So Fine thread and used Quilters Dream Blend batting.

Just a reminder that we are having a 15% off sale on all our paper and PDF patterns in our Etsy Shop and on our Website.  Sale lasts until Nov 15, 2020.

I have two more versions of this pattern to share with you soon, both with a very different colour palette!

  1. Washboard or tractor tire tracks... Maybe it's just the photo shoot locations

    1. Very nice! I was thinking Tire Tracks, too with the black background. The colours sure stand out against the black.
