Peggy made this wonderful oversized Fancy Fox quilt by doing the math and making the blocks 12". With a 8 x 8 block layout she had a quilt that measured 100" x 100". She made it scrappy by using orange fabrics from her stash for the fox heads and light grey background.
She asked for Modernish for the pantograph and I used a light grey So Fine thread and Quilters Dream Blend batting. The backing is Smoke and Rust fabric by Moda.
Wow, this is huge and stunning, love those faces against the background.
ReplyDeletethis is wonderful! your quilting always makes the quilt even better. i would like to ask you a question. i am about to quilt an applique quilt and want to know, if i use a wool batting, should i add a cotton or cotton poly batting underneath it, or can i use just wool? thank you s5821140@gmail.com
