This is Janice's Gypsy Wife quilt, a pattern by Jen Kingwell. She used a variety of fabrics from her stash plus a fat quarter bundle and added a lovely orange border which frames the piecing nicely.
We decided on the Flourish pantograph, beige So Fine thread and Quilters Dream Blend batting.
The backing is a natural muslin and it shows off the quilting beautifully!
Tim and I drove down to the old train station to get a few pictures. I love the colour of that old loading dock door.
Its been pretty windy here but we were patient and got a few photos in the field.
We had a visit from a fox the other morning and I was able to grab my camera before it ran off.
The horses in the field behind our house have been enjoying these warmers days too.
Lovely quilt, gorgeous fox and horses for courses! Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWow! You don’t see orange as a predominant colour very often. I love it!
