This is Helen’s baby quilt that has raw edge appliqué and embroidery in the borders. Love the fabrics she chose!
I want to do more free hand design this year and had admired Jenny’s free hand swirly feathers that she posted on her blog here. So I gave them a try and really like them! Thanks for the inspiration Jenny!
Helen has a chenille fabric for the backing which makes this a very cuddly baby quilt.

Oh so pretty!. A real snuggle rug. Must check Jenny's piece about feathers. I can do feathers but it's the sizing them to space that feaks me out.
Perhaps I better decide that is one thing to master this year!
