Since I first made and posted this quilt two and half years ago it has been the most popular post on my blog. It has had over 111,000 page views and I have received many requests for a pattern, not just the block tutorial that I first posted. So I finally got around to writing up a pattern and it is now on my sidebar as a free download. Or you can just click this link HERE.
I have quilted a few for clients and I loved seeing the different fabrics they all used. Here are a few samples of the ones that have come to Tamarack Shack!
This is Rae’s blue and purple Four Patch Charm quilt.
Sandra’s teal, brown and red Four Patch Charm quilt.
Eileen scrappy Four Patch Charm quilt. I added more swirls in the quilting.
This is Wendy’s Fall Four Patch Charm quilt and I used a pantograph
.
I can see why it's so popular.......it's lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great pattern for any fabric theme, super fun! Thank you for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteThe quilting on these is JUST GORGEOUS! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI think it's the quilting that make these quilts so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYes please!! I have so loved this since I first saw it, and probably will start collecting my favourite blues and purples in batiks.

ReplyDeleteabsolutely beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like this! Love the look of it, and it looks like it will fit the bill for my next project. Could you share the finished size? I don't see that anywhere, but perhaps I am overlooking that info?
ReplyDeleteYes it is in the pattern. Page 6 at the very top where it says Final Layout Diagram 63 3/4" x 69 1/2"
DeleteThanks for pointing me in the right direction. :)
DeleteI'm sure I've seen this before, as I always follow your blog, today it really caught my eye. I love it, and a great way to use charm packs. Thank you for the pattern.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the free pattern. Can't wait to make it and try out some new quilting ideas!
ReplyDeleteIs this written for meters or inches/feet? The yardage is in meters and I'm not sure if the rest is. I'm in the United States. Thanks
ReplyDeleteWe buy fabric in Canada using the metric system but piece our quilts with imperial measure. I'm concerned there is an issue with my download if you could read the fabric requirement page but not the rest of the pattern. Please let me know if there is an issue with download as the PDF I uploaded should contain the whole pattern.
DeleteI have the whole pattern and that was what had me confused. Thank you so much for the clarification. Have a great day!
DeleteThank you so much for sharing! I have always admired this quilt at the top of your blogs.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful! Thank you! Though the googledrive click HERE only loads the first page for me. I'm going to check the sidebar now!
ReplyDeleteI double checked and both links work for the full document. Might have to just wait a few seconds for the pages to load or scroll down to load all the pages.
DeleteIt's working perfectly now! And it is such a special gift! Thank you!

ReplyDeleteI'm so excited you made this free PDF pattern. I'm taking it to my Breakfast Club on Thursday to see if our leader wants to do this next year...she's already got the patterns selected for our gatherings through the end of 2016. I have admired this pattern for some time. Looking forward to making it.
